As Supervisor ANN MALLEK will:

REPRESENT THE CITIZENS OF CROZET AND WHITE HALL
  • Listen and respond to your concerns, and stand up for town and rural residents.
  • Ask the right questions:  How will each change affect the whole?   How will we pay for it?
  • Support neighborhood schools and educational opportunity for all ages.

STAND FOR OPEN, EFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT
  • Promote tax fairness with an open, transparent budget process.
  • Implement the Crozet Master Plan following residents’ priorities.
  • Improve public spaces, and protect Crozet’s history and uniqueness.

PROTECT OUR HEALTH and NATURAL RESOURCES
  • Create incentives to preserve best soils for raising food and livestock.
  • Protect clean air and water, and reduce harmful runoff from solid waste.
  • Raise standards for erosion control and land use assessment.
  • Support infrastructure first that meets sound environmental standards.

Should citizens subsidize development?  NO!
The minimum cost to the County of proposed projects – the proffer value – is $17,000 per single family unit. The Republican incumbent calls this only a "guide the County will not have to strictly adhere to." (The Daily Progress,   May 4, 2007)  Why is he so willing to let voters pay the price while developers reap the profit?

Support Ann’s campaign and Albemarle’s future!
